Artemisios was born on the night of the Beast Moon, in a village in the territory of the Knights of Anathaeum, where all residents have lycanthrope blood. When they turn 15, a long ritual is performed in which the young person receives all their abilities. Before that, children grow up getting used to the simplest form of wolf, learning to change between human and wolf as well as learning the balance between the forms, but when they pass the ritual on their birthday, they unleash the power of the famous, albeit in many places falsely, hybrid wolf and human form. Large and powerful and full of strength.

The Knights of the nearby Sanctum are warned in advance about the ritual so that no accidents occur, because on that night, those who undergo the ritual are released into the nearby forest so that their hyper-stimulated bodies, minds, and souls can run without restraint, followed from afar by their elders. These races cause the deaths of animals and even monsters, which are brought back to the village by those who follow the frenzied young people who return to the village to immediately collapse from exhaustion.
The next day, the young people are tattooed while still exhausted. The silver pricks cause burns, and the silver mixed with ink forms tattoos that indicate the moon of birth, in an ancient code of the lycanthropes.


Those born under the Moon of the Beast, like Artemisios, have instincts strongly geared towards combat and hunting, so the training began, and some were sent to the Sanctum of the Knights of Anathaeu.

Artemisis was trained by other warriors and hunters from the village, learning unarmed combat, the axe, the falchion, the spear, and the bow. He learned to switch between his forms naturally and follow the flow of combat or hunting. He did some scouting work for adventurers and knights and learned that the Knights of Anathaeum know about his village and are allies. They also make Artemisios slightly more resistant than normal to injuries that most you would have to use force to pierce simple leather armor when trying to hurt them.
